At Linked2Literacy, we believe in the power of partnerships to make a difference in the lives of children across Nebraska. One of our most impactful collaborations is with TeamMates, an organization dedicated to providing mentorship and support to students throughout the Midwest.
Learn About TeamMates Mentoring
Tom and Nancy Osborne founded TeamMates in 1991. The program has been instrumental in fostering positive relationships between mentors and students.
With over 1,000 matches in Lincoln and 192 chapters across the greater Nebraska region, TeamMates serves as a beacon of hope and guidance for young individuals.
OUR PARTNERSHIP
At Linked2Literacy, we are committed to empowering mentor matches through our partnership with TeamMates. By providing age-appropriate books, games, and toys, we enhance mentoring sessions, making learning enjoyable while reinforcing the importance of literacy in a child's development.
Moreover, we extend our support to schools involved with TeamMates throughout Nebraska. In addition to supplying mentor matches with educational materials, we provide bundles of books to foster a culture of reading and learning in communities statewide.
